Nice to meet you, I am Diana Faon

I am a psychologist, and my own experience living and studying in the United States has given me a global, empathetic, and non-judgmental perspective, highly valuable if you live outside your home country.

My approach is both personal and professional; I understand you, and I am here for you. I believe in giving things the time they need, dedicating the first few sessions to getting to know you deeply. My philosophy is to see symptoms not as an enemy to be defeated, but as a compass that guides us toward where we should look. I believe in creating a space where you feel truly welcome to process what you are feeling. That way you will be able to grow.

FAQ

Is your approach merely superficial, or does it get to the root of the problem?

My therapy goes beyond just providing immediate relief. My method involves dedicating time (especially 2-3 sessions at the beginning) to understanding your context and your history. We do not focus on quick fixes, but on understanding the root of what is happening to you in order to achieve lasting change.

Yes. I offer both modalities. We can work entirely online, or in person at my office in Madrid, adapting to your schedule and needs.

Individual and parent therapy sessions are 50 minutes long, and couples therapy is also 50 minutes long.

I speak native English and Spanish, so we can conduct therapy entirely in either language.

Yes, although my approach to child therapy involves working exclusively with you, the parents, in sessions. Together, we analyze the symptoms (anxiety, tantrums, etc.) and the dynamics at home so you can understand your child and help them make a change.

It depends a lot on each person. My method involves taking time at the beginning (the first 2-3 sessions are exploratory). From there, we define the frequency and pace that best suits you and your goals (usually once a week, trying for it to always be the same day and time).

Is it time to release that pressure and find your balance?

If you have decided to put aside self-imposed pressure and find a safe space to manage your feelings, I understand and I am here to support you.
